As part of the production of a short film, the MJ Chezzelle and Abozamé Productions are actively looking for amateur actors and actresses with (even minimal) experience in theatre, as well as for extras. For a shooting scheduled during the summer 2022.

2021 | Short Film Workshop
The objective of the project is to build together a short film of about 20 minutes between fiction, documentary and music clip, filmed in the city of Louvain-la-Neuve, and in collaboration with artist Guillaume Van Parys. You were born in the 90s or 2000s, you're interested in cinema, theatre, music or dance, you want to express on the theme, you want to learn more about the stages of creating an audiovisual work, you are motivated to participate actively in the project, so join us quickly!
For almost a year now, we've been talking about the « world after ». A different world that could respond effectively to the many crises we are experiencing today: climate, health, economic, social, democratic, digital, etc. The year 2020 certainly marks a before and an after in our society but what are exactly these desired changes? Are they up to the stakes? Are we ready to implement them? And how do you imagine this next world? What changes would you like to see today? How do you dream about the future?

2019-2020 | Soundpainting Workshop
A new workshop opens at the MJ Chezzelle: the workshop « Soundpainting ». Kezako? Soundpainting is a sign language of multidisciplinary artistic creation in real time. It allows an orchestral conductor, called « Soundpainter », to create an improvised performance in the instant with any type of performing artists (musician.nes, dancers, actors, etc.), having also learned the signs of language.
These signs refer to different types of artistic materials specific to performers. The soundpainter thus gives shape to composition in interaction with improvisations proposed by the performers. Come and practice your art in an original, collective and fun way with the host Guillaume Van Parys! Welcome to musicians, actors, dancers of all ages, all levels and all horizons!
